This delightful one-man show is an amazing journey of transformation and spontaneity.  Combining elements of dance, mime, music and storytelling, “Human Jazz” is a celebration of the human instrument and the spirit that connects us.  Christian draws from a global palette of sound and movement and then “disappears” into songs, characters, animals, poetry, body music or mere energy. The result is as infectious as it is inspiring.  
Reappearing frequently as himself, he will speak directly to the audience telling autobiographical stories or introducing what’s to come.  
From the beginning throat-singing to the spontaneous “word improvisations” at the end, this shaman of delight interweaves the mysterious and the obvious with immediacy, power and vulnerability.

I’ve been performing with these wonderful people for almost 15 years…  This year they are touring Alaska again and I’ll be doing a benefit Parade, Teaser Show and Workshop up in Port Townsend, WA at Pope Marine Park, Saturday, May 28 from 1 PM to 3 PM. (Parade starts at the Farmers Market at 12:30 PM.)

Inspired by Gnostic, Feminist, and other Insurrectionist interpretations of the Serpent, Sophia, Kali, Lilith, Raphael, Satanel, Maria, the Judge and the Witness. Set in a transdimensional, liminal zone where the five elements intersect and vanish. The artists channel these cosmic energies to uncover the mysteries of erotism, death, creation and destruction. We explore ecstasy through a neospiritual ethos that is beyond good and evil…
